So the first photo was taken on Wednesday, May 9, and I was outside while this storm was passing by. So I took a photo of it and it was pretty cool. It was taken on my phone. The other is moreso of the aftermath of the storm. I was walking my dog and saw that a tree had fallen onto the fence so of course I had to take a photo of that. It was awesome.

2012
Alright so these photos were actually taken today, May 4, and I thought that because the school year is ending, I would take a photo of my tassel for the class of 2012. I had also taken a lollipop because it was a party favor from the prom of 2012, and I did it in black and white because it looked better. The photos came really good. I am satisfied.

Colors
So the first one is of these Hawaiian flowers I have hanging on my bookcase. I actually took it this morning while I was heading out the house. I love it! It's very vibrant and the colors pop. The second photo is of these ceramic bowls that Best Buddies had made. I took this photo yesterday and thought it was interesting and the colors are pretty cool.

Nice Day
Alright, so I had taken these photos on April 14th. I was outside waiting for my ride, and it was so nice out. I decided to take a few photos using my phone. The first is obviously of the sky. I was under a tree and thought I'd get the sun and clouds coming out through the trees and that is how that came out.
The second is of the actual tree; more specifically, a part of the tree bark. There was some...grass? On it so I photographed it and that's how that came out.

Blow the Candles Out
I had taken these photos last night, on April 4. The first photo is a row of candles on my TV; pretty self explanatory. The second photo was inspired by Matt Nathanson's song, "Run". I was watching the music video and I saw that he used a candle and wrote the lyrics, "Like A Slow Fire Burn", onto the candle. So I thought it was pretty cool so I decided to try and do it myself. It came alright; I could have done better, but it's fine.

Object Find
The first photo is of these flowers that my aunt had gotten from a special someone. I thought that they were really pretty and I liked the colors so I decided to photograph it. I thought that maybe I could get a good composition if I had the background as a sunset. I also liked the pink cup and plate; it's really pretty.
For the second photo, I took a picture of my Justice League Converse. I decided to color splash Superman on the shoe because, one, he's awesome, and two, he was the main focus. I really liked both photos. It was tough getting the photo of the shoe though; I practically blinded myself because my room was dark and all I saw was that flash. Although, the photo really worked out.

Brother Richy
During the spring break, I had gone to visit my brother, Richard Cibrian, on the other side of town. My brother saw my camera, and wanted to do a photo shoot. And so, we went outside, on a bright sunny day, and we did a photo shoot. It was hard for me to adjust the settings because it was so bright outside, so I had to take a lot of test shots before I actually did the photo shoot. In the photo above, we went into an alley and I saw the chair sitting onto the side. I wanted to do a sort of urban shoot, so I had my brother sit in it. I wanted to try and get some sort of depth, and so I put him in the middle of the alley and focused on him. I also put him in the rule of thirds; I think the photo came out great.
The next photo of him in the white T-shirt was actually taken by accident. My brother and I were just being silly and messing around. I was taking random photos of him because he liked the shutter noise and he felt like a real model. I was surprised by this photo and decided to use it. I really liked it and thought it brought out my brother's true personality. We had a lot of fun doing the shoot and it was a success!
